Roundup Lawsuit: Case Details, Side Effects, and Complaints
Roundup, manufactured by Monsanto Corporation, hit the market in the late 1970s as a weed and grass killer. Roundup is the most widley used Roundup has been linked to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup. In a study published March 20, 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) found that glyphosate was “probably carcinogenic to humans”. The study noted that glyphosate currently has the highest global production volume of herbicides and the largest use is in agriculture. There are various forms of non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma tied to Roundup:
- Diffuse large B-cell
- Follicular lymphoma
- T cell
- Mantle cell lymphoma
Plaintiffs state that Monsanto failed to properly test Roundup and hid test results showing a link between use of Roundup and cancer. Monsanto failed to warn consumers of the increased risk of cancer after use of Roundup.

Complaints
