Court Records Indicate That More Than 1,500 NuvaRing Lawsuits Have Been Filed In State And Federal Courts On Behalf Of Alleged Victims Of NuvaRing Side Effects, Including Blood Clots, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Pulmonary Embolism, Heart Attacks, Stroke, And Death.
The federal judge overseeing hundreds of NuvaRing lawsuits in U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri, has scheduled the litigation’s first bellwether trial for January 27, 2014. According to an Order dated July 30th, the proceeding’s first NuvaRing lawsuit trial was supposed to begin in October 2013, but U.S. District Judge Rodney Sippel postponed the start date, as well as current discovery, motions or other rulings. The Order further directed the parties to “maintain regular and frequent contact with the mediator” who has been appointed by the Court to oversee NuvaRing lawsuit settlement negotiations.
