Schulte, a partner with the firm, was recently honored by his colleagues at the Miami Valley Trial Lawyers’ Association Annual Judicial Recognition Dinner. The event, which was held on May 22nd at the Dayton Racquet Club, marked the end of Mr. Schulte’s two-year term as President of the Miami Valley Trial Lawyers Association.

“The Miami Valley Trial Lawyers Association is dedicated to protecting access to civil and criminal courts for individuals at both the Federal and State level,” said Mr. Schulte. “Our members are from Montgomery, Warren, Greene, Miami, Preble, Butler, Clark, Darke, and Shelby counties. It has been an honor to lead our membership over the past two years.”

According to Wright & Schulte, some 40 judges from the Miami Valley’s seven-county area attended the Annual Judicial Recognition Dinner.¬¬¬ These notable attendees included the Honorable Susan J. Dlott, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, who also served as the evening’s Key Note Speaker. Judge Dlott, who was appointed to the federal bench by President Clinton in 1995, delivered an inspiring address concerning her oversight of a 2002 accord aimed at resolving allegations that the Cincinnati Police Department had long engaged in a pattern of racial profiling, targeting and harassment of African Americans.
